At ~8:34 AM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 170 (Monroeville #4 VFC) for a multi-vehicle auto accident at the intersection of William Penn Highway and Old William Penn Highway (Wendy's Intersection). Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (4 firefighters including Lieutenant 20), with Assistant Chief 20 going directly to the scene. Upon Rescue 20's arrival at the scene, it was found that the accident was in Station 170's District, and Station 170 Units needed no additional personnel or equipment to remediate the accident scene. The Monroeville Police released Rescue 20 for return to station.
