By Firefighter Mike Cline
August 4, 2018

At ~6:24 PM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company) for a report of down electric wires at 4078 Bulltown Road. Station 20 responded with Engine 20 (3 firefighters), with Lieutenant 20 going directly to the scene, and Truck 20 (3 firefighters) on standby at Mother of Sorrows Church. Lieutenant 20 was first on scene, and found that a low hanging electric line near Meadowink Golf Course had become entangled in a tree. Lieutenant 20 informed Westmorland 911 to request West Penn Power dispatch a repair crew to the location to repair the broken electric line. Since there was no danger to the public or roadway, Lieutenant 20 released all Station 20 units for return to station.

Units: Engine 20, Truck 20
