The Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company (Station 20) attend the Mother of Sorrows Community Festival on 3-4 August. Station 20 displayed Engine 20, Truck 20, and the company's Antique 1929 American LaFrance Pumper at the festival. The firefighters gave tours of the apparatus, which allowed general public to get "up close and personal" with equipment that provides Fire and Rescue Services for the Municipality of Murrysville. Further the public was able to compare how much firefighting technology has changed in the last 89 years when comparing the 1929 American LaFrance Pumper and Murrysville VFC's 21st Century firefighting apparatus.
