By Firefighter Mike Cline
August 6, 2018

At ~10:53 AM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company) for a downed tree on Roundtop Road. Station 20 responded with Service 20 (4 firefighters including Lieutenant 20). The Murrysville Police were on scene directing traffic around the fallen tree when Service 20 arrived on scene. The firefighters found that the fallen tree had partially blocked the westbound land of Roundtop Road. The firefighters used a chainsaw to cutup the downed tree and removed the tree pieces from the roadway. Upon completion of the action, the Murrysville Police released Service 20 for return to Station 20.
