At ~6:03 AM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company) for a 2-vehicle auto accident at the intersection of Trafford Road and Meadowbrook Road. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (3 firefighters including Captain 20 and Lieutenant 20) and Engine 20 (2 firefighters). Upon arrival at the scene, the firefighters of Rescue 20 assisted Medic One personnel in loading the injured occupant of one of the cars, remediated leaking fluids from both vehicles and helped to control traffic at the scene. Engine 20 and its crew were used to control traffic at the intersection of William Penn Highway and Trafford Road until the accident was cleared. Murrysville Police released all Station 20 units for return to station at the completion of the incident.
