At ~11:36 PM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company) for an automatic fire alarm at 1001 Murry Ridge Lane (Phillips Respironics). Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (4 firefighters including Lieutenant 20), and Engine 20 (2 firefighters), with an additional firefighter manning Station 20. Other dispatched stations included Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 102 (Washington Township VFC), Station 115 (Upper Burrell VFC), and Station 236 (Holiday Park VFC). Truck 20 was first on scene, and found the fire caused by a burning outside electrical outlet - the fire was out upon arrival. All other responding units including Engine 20 were cancelled. Truck 20 firefighters surveyed the exterior and interior fire area with a Thermal Imaging Camera and found no lingering fire points or hot spots in the structure. Lieutenant 20 released Truck 20 for return to station.
