AT ~ 1:58 PM Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company) for a Automatic Fire Alarm at the 4491 School Road South (Murrysville Sports Zone). Station 20 responded with Chief 20, Captain 20 and Lieutenant 20 going directly to the scene, and 6 firefighters responding to Station 20 to man Truck 20 and Engine 20. Westmorland 911 had also dispatched the following companies to assist Station 20 in the incident: Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), and Station 87 (Harrison City VFC). The Station 20 Officers arrived on scene and found the establishment had technical difficulties with the Automatic Fire Alarm in one of their buildings, and the incident was a false alarm. Chief 20 cancelled all responding units enroute to the incident location due to the false alarm.
