At ~9:32 AM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at the Franklin Regional Middle School. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (3 firefighters); with Chief 20, Captain 20, and Lieutenant 20 going directly to the school. Westmorland 911 also dispatched the following stations to support Station 20: Station 22 (Export VFD), Station 64 (White Valley VFD), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 236 (Holiday Park VFD), and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One). A call from the school advised a ball had hit a pull station in the gym. Chief 20 cancelled all responding units with the exception of Station 20 units. Lieutenant 20 confirmed it was a pull station activation and returned Truck 20.
