At ~4:29 PM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One) in a search and rescue operation for a injured hiker in Duff Park. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (5 firefighters including Sergeant 20) and Squad 20 (Lieutenant 20). An additional 5 firefighters were on standby at Station 20 to either assist in the search and rescue operation, or respond to any additional dispatches from Westmorland 911. Upon Rescue & Squad 20's arrival, the firefighters assisted Medic One in the search of the injured hiker. Upon completion of the operation, Director 610 released all Station 20 personnel and apparatus for return to service and station.
