At ~7:24 AM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm at Murrysville Health and Wellness. Station 20 responded with 4 firefighters (including Lieutenant 20) going to the station to crew Truck 20, and 1 firefighter going directly to the scene. Westmorland 911 also dispatched the following stations to assist Station 20: Station 64 (White Valley VFD), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 22 (Export VFD), Station 236 (Holiday Park VFD), and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One). The first firefighter on scene found that the AFA System had a defective sensor in one of its areas, which activated the system. The fire alarm system was reset, all responding units were cancelled, and Truck 20 returned to service.
