At ~7:09 AM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 64 (White Valley VFD), for a single vehicle auto accident on Wiestertown Road. Station 20 responded with 5 firefighters (including Lieutenant 20) going to the station to crew Rescue 20. The Murrysville Police were first on scene, and found a pickup truck on its side off the roadway with the driver had self-extracted. Rescue 64 arrived on scene, and Command 64 found that Rescue 64 had adequate resources to remediate the accident. Command 64 cancelled Rescue 20 as it was preparing to depart the station. Rescue 20 returned to service.
