At ~1:10 PM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a Commercial Automatic Fire Alarm on Blue Spruce Way. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (3 firefighters including Lieutenant 20) with an additional firefighter manning Station 20. Westmorland 911 also dispatched the following stations to assist Station 20: Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 22 (Export VFC), and Station 236 (Holiday Park VFC). Truck 20 was first on scene, Lieutenant 20 established command, and found no fire or smoke was coming from the structure. Upon investigation it was found that the AFA System had been accidently activated during system maintenance. Command 20 cancelled all responding units, and Truck 20 returned to service and station.
