At ~ 3:06 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One) to extricate an entrapped individual from a Lift Chair in an apartment at the Marquis Apartments. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (5 firefighters), with Captain 20 going directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched Station 78 (Sardis VFC) to assist Station 610. As Rescue 20 and Captain 20 were arriving on scene, Director 610 cancelled all responding fire-rescue units since the Station 610 EMS Personnel were able to extricate the patient from the lift chair. Captain 20 returned Rescue 20 to service and station.
