Residential Automatic Fire Alarm - Sardis Road

At ~1:30 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 78 (Sardis VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) in a home on Sardis Road. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (2 firefighters). Westmoreland 911 dispatched the following additional stations to assist Station 78: Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 236 (Holiday Park VFC), and the Murrysville Police. Chief 78 with Engine 78 was first on scene, Chief 78 established command, and found no smoke or fire coming from the home. Engine 78's crew gained entry to the home, and found no fire or smoke in their interior search. Command 78 cancelled all responding units except for Engine 78. Truck 20 returned to service and station.
