At ~ 11:33 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at Car Protection Plus on William Penn Highway. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (3 firefighters including Captain 20). Westmoreland 911 dispatched the following stations to support Station 20: Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 236 (Holiday Park VFC), and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One). Director 610 was first on scene, and found no fire or smoke coming from the structure. Upon Truck 20's arrival, Captain 20 established command, Truck 20's crew entered the structure and found that a microwave cooking accident had activated the AFA System, and no fire was found. Command 20 returned all responding units except for Truck 20. The business owner reset the AFA System, and Command 20 returned Truck 20 to service and station.
