At ~ 10:37 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 78 (Sardis VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at a home on Twin Oaks Drive. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (5 firefighters including Assistant Chief 20), with 2 additional firefighters on standby at the station. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations to support Station 78: Station 64 (White Valley VFC) and Station 236 (Holiday Park VFC). Engine 78 was first on scene, Chief 78 established command, found no fire or smoke coming from the structure, and Command 78 cancelled all enroute units. Truck 20 returned to service and station.
