At ~ 9:19 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville, VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at Meadowink Gulf Club. Station 20 responded with 6 firefighters going to the station to crew Truck 20, while 2 firefighters (including Assistant Chief 20) went directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations to support Station 20: Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 64 (white Valley VFC), Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 236 (Holiday Park VFC), and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One). The direct responding Station 20 firefighters were first on scene, with Assistant Chief 20 establishing the command, and finding no fire or smoke coming from the structure. Upon investigation it was found that construction had activated the structure's AFA System. The system was reset, and Command 20 returned all responding stations. Truck 20 remained in service and in station.
