At ~12:42 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 30 (Delmont VFC) for a report of an Electrical Burning Odor in the First Commonwealth Bank in Delmont. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (3 firefighters), with 4 additional firefighters on standby in case additional apparatus was needed at the scene. Westmoreland 911 dispatched the following additional stations to support Station 30: Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 63 (Claridge VFC), and Station 90 (Forbes Road VFC). Chief 30 was first on scene, established the command, and found no fire or smoke coming from the structure. Engine 30 and Engine 64 arrived on scene, and upon entry the firefighters found that a transformer had malfunctioned. Command 30 determined adequate fire/rescue resources were on scene, and returned Truck 20 to service and station.
