At ~ 9:47 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of a down utility line at the intersection of Logan Ferry Road, and Shangri-La Drive. Station 20 responded with Squad 20 (2 firefighters), with Lieutenant 20 going directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One) for the incident. When Squad 20 arrived at the scene, the senior firefighter established command, and found that a Windstream Telephone Line had fallen to approximately 7 feet above the roadway. The firefighters relayed the Windstream Pole Number to Westmoreland 911 so Windstream could dispatch a repair crew to the location. Once the roadway was clear, Lieutenant 20 returned Squad 20 and Medic 613 to service and station.
