At ~10:58 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at the former Weyerhaeuser Lumber Yard Warehouse on William Penn Highway. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (4 firefighters), with Captain 20 and Lieutenant 20 going directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following stations to support Station 20: Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 236 (Holiday Park VFC), and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One). Captain 20 and Lieutenant 20 were first on scene, Captain 20 established command, and no smoke or fire was observed coming from the structure. Truck 20, Engine 22-1, and Engine 22-2, arrived on scene, and firefighters entered the structure using the "Knox Box" Entry Key. No fire or smoke was found in the primary interior search, and Command 20 returned all units still enroute. The secondary interior search revealed that the AFA had been tripped by a pressure switch in the sprinkler system. Command 20 requested that Westmoreland 911 contact the property manager to come to the location. Command 20 released all Station 20 and 22 Units, and remained on scene until the Property Manager arrived on scene.
