At ~ 10:26 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a public service call at a home on Meadow Lane. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (4 firefighters including Lieutenant 20), with an additional firefighter on standby at the station. Upon arrival at the scene, Lieutenant 20 established command, and upon entry into the home found that a small cat had gotten trapped behind several pieces of heavy furniture. The Rescue 20 firefighters moved the furniture, freed the cat, and then moved the furniture back into the place. Command 20 returned Rescue 20 to service and station.
