On October 10th and 11th, the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company (Station 20) hosted the Pre-School Classes of the First Methodist Church of Murrysville and the First Presbyterian Church of Murrysville. The Station 20 firefighters presented each pre-school class a fire awareness talk on what actions should be taken in case of a home fire emergency, and the students got to interact with a firefighter in full entry Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA). At the completion of the fire awareness talk, the students were given a tour of Station 20's Fire Apparatus. Before departing the station, each student was given a fire awareness coloring book, and child's Station 20 fire helmet.
