At ~2:48 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 59 (Slickville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at Ark Senior Services in Salem Township. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (6 firefighters), with 3 additional firefighters (including Lieutenant 20) on standby at the station. Chief 59 was first on scene, established command, found no fire or smoke coming from the structure, and held the alarm to Station 59 (Slickville VFC) and Station 90 (Forbes Road VFC). Truck 20 was cancelled enroute, and returned to service and station.
