At ~ 9:34 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of a low hanging electric line at the intersection of Windover Road and Hay Lane. Station 20 responded with Captain 20 going directly to the scene, Truck 20 (2 firefighters) in a standby location at the Franklin Regional Middle School, and 2 firefighters (including Chief 20) on standby at the station prepared to crew additional apparatus. Captain 20 arrived on scene, established command, found a low hanging electric line, notified Westmoreland 911 with the utility pole number so West Penn Power could dispatch a repair crew, and notified Murrysville Public Works to close off the road until West Penn Power repaired the line. Upon arrival of the Murrysville Public Works Crew, Command 20 turned the scene over to them, and returned Truck 20 to its Public Service Detail at the Franklin Regional Middle School.
