At ~ 4:54 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at Spinola's Bakery on Old William Penn Highway. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (4 firefighters), with Chief 20 responding directly to the scene, and 3 firefighters on standby at the station prepared to take Engine 20 to the scene. Westmoreland 911 dispatched the following stations to assist Station 20: Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One), and the Murrysville Police Department. Chief 20 was first on scene, established command, observed no fire or smoke coming from the structure, and found that the AFA System had been tripped due to a baking accident.
