At ~ 7:00 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 59 (Slickville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at Ark Manor in Salem Township. Station 20 responded with 9 firefighters going to the station to crew Truck 20 and Engine 20, while Chief 20 went directly to the scene. Chief 59 was first on scene, established command, and found that the AFA System had been accidently activated. Command 59 cancelled all responding units except for Station 59. Truck 20 and Engine 20 remained in service and in station.
