At ~ 5:59 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 64 (White Valley VFC) for a report of a oven on fire in a home on Surrey Drive. Station 20 responded with 10 firefighters (including Sergeant 20) gong to the station to crew Truck 20 and Engine 20. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations for the incident: Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 30 (Delmont VFC), and Station 78 (Sardis VFC). Assitant 64 was first on scene and advised of a light smoke condition inside the residence. Command 64 cancelled all responding units except for Station 64. All Station 20 units remained in station and in service.
