At ~ 2:06 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 30 (Delmont VFC) for a stove fire in an apartment in the Valley Stream Apartments. Station 20 responded with 6 firefighters (including Assistant Chief 20 and Lieutenant 20) going to the station to crew Truck 20, while Chief 20 went directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations to assist Station 30: Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 63 (Claridge VFC), and Station 90 (Forbes Road VFC). Chief 64 was first on scene, established command, and reported that the fire was out but ventilation was needed. Chief 30 held the alarm to Truck 30. Truck 20 remained in service and in station.
