At ~ 5:29 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at a home on Orchard Court. Station 20 responded with 4 firefighters (including Assistant Chief 20) going to the station to crew Truck 20, while 3 firefighters (including Lieutenant 20) went directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following stations to assist Station 20: Station 9 (Level Green VFC), Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), and Station 87 (Harrison City VFC). Lieutenant 20 was first on scene, established command, observed no fire or smoke coming from the structure, and found that a cooking accident had activated the AFA System. Command 20 returned all dispatched stations to service. Truck 20 remained in service and in station.
