At ~ 8:33 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a 2 -vehicle collision at and William Penn Highway and Blue Spruce Way. Station 20 responded with 3 firefighters (including Assistant Chief 20 and Lieutenant 20) going to the station to crew Rescue 20, and 1 firefighter going directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the Murrysville Police and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One). The Murrysville Police were first on scene, established command, and cancelled Rescue 20 as no fire/rescue services were needed at the scene. Rescue 20 remained in service and in station.
