At ~ 12:06 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 59 (Slickville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at Twin Valley Personal Care Home. Station 20 responded with firefighters going to the station to crew the apparatus. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations to support Station 59: Station 30 (Delmont VFC), Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 87 (Harrison City VFC), and Station 90 (Forbes Trail VFC). Chief 59 was first on scene, established command, and found that a cooking accident had activated the AFA System. Command 59 cancelled all responding stations except for Station 59. All Station 20 units remained in service and in station.
