At ~10:09AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC), to assist Station 78 (Sardis VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at a home on Oak Hurst Court. Station 20 responded with 9 firefighters(including Captain 20 and Lieutenant 20) going to the station to crew Truck 20 and Engine 20, while Chief 20 went directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations to support Station 78: Station 22 (Export VFC) and Station 64 (White Valley VFC). While the Station 20 firefighters were crewing the apparatus, Chief 78 cancelled all responding stations. All Station 20 units remained in service and in station.
