At ~5:51 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at Murrysville Rehabilitation and Wellness. Station 20 responded with 6 firefighters (including Captain 20) going to the station to crew Truck 20, while Assistant Chief 20 went directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following stations to support Station 20: Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 236 (Holiday Park VFC), and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One). Assistant Chief 20 was first on scene, found no smoke or fire coming from the structure, established command, and staged all responding units at Station 20 until he determined the situation. Upon investigation, Command 20 determined that it was a false alarm, returned all stations to service, and assisted the facility staff in resetting the AFA System. Truck 20 remained in service and in station.
