At ~4:56 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 78 (Sardis VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm at Respironics. Station 20 responded with 7 firefighters (including Chief 20, Assistant Chief 20, Captain 20, and Lieutenant 20) going to the station to crew Truck 20 and Engine 20. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations to support Station 78: Station 102 (Washington Township VFC), Station 115 (Upper Burrell VFC), Station 183 (Renton VFC), and Station 236 (Holiday Park VFC). As the Station 20 firefighters were crewing the apparatus, Command 78 cancelled all responding units except for Station 78. All Station 20 units remained in service and in station.
