| At ~ 3:05 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at a home on Trafford Road. Station 20 responded with 7 firefighters (including Assistant Chief 20, Captain 20) gong to the station to crew Truck 20 and Engine 20, with a senior firefighter going directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following stations to support Station 20: Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), and Station 9 (Level Green VFC). A second call from security deemed the alarm false due to system maintenance. Chief 20 verified with the homeowner that no fire company services were needed. Chief 20 cancelled all responding stations, and all Station 20 units returned to service. |
