At ~ 8:50 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 78 (Sardis VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at a home Timberwood Court. Station 20 responded with 7 firefighters (including Assistant Chief 20 and Lieutenant 20) going to the station to crew Truck 20 and Engine 20, while Chief 20 proceeded directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched Station 236 (Holiday Park VFC) and Station 183 (Renton VFC) to assist Station 78). Command 78 was first on scene, found no smoke or fire coming from the structure, and upon investigation found the AFA System had been activated due to burnt food. Command 78 cancelled all responding stations except for Station 78. All Station 20 units remained in service and and station.
