2-Vehicle Collision - Intersection of William Penn Highway and Cline Hollow Road

At ~ 1:16 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a 2-vehicle collision at the intersection of William Penn Highway and Cline Hollow Road. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (3 firefighters), with 4 firefighters (including Assistant Chief 20, Captain 20 and Sergeant 20) going directly to the scene, and 1 firefighter manning the station. Assistant Chief 20 was the first firefighter on scene, finding that the Murrysville Police had command, and that a passenger car and tractor trailer had collided with debris and fluid from the passenger vehicle on the roadway. Upon Rescue 20's arrival on scene, its crew remediated the debris and fluid on the roadway. Once the automobile was recovered by a local towing service, the Murrysville Police reopened the intersection for traffic. Command 20 returned Rescue 20, and all Station 20 personnel to service and station. .
