Porch Fire -Lincoln Avenue, Export, PA

At ~ 4:03 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 22 (Export VFC) for a report of a porch fire in an apartment building on Lincoln Avenue in Export. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (4 firefighters including Captain 20), Engine 20 (3 firefighters), and Rescue 20 (2 firefighters), with Assistant Chief 20 going directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations to support Station 20: Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 30 (Delmont VFC), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 63 (Claridge VFC), Station 87 (Harrison City VFC), Station 102 (Washington Township VFC), Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One), and the Murrysville Police. Engine 22 was first on scene, with Chief 22 establishing command, and smoke was observed coming from the structure. Firefighter crews from Stations 22, 64, and 30 entered the structure to extinguish the fire. Upon arrival at the scene, all Station 20, 87 and 102 units were put in an assembly area so they could respond to any additional alarms or support the on scene firefighting efforts. Once the fire was extinguished, and the structure ventilated, Command 22 returned all Station 20 units to service and station.
