Vehicle Fire - Franklin Plaza

At ~ 1:50 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a vehicle fire in front of the Med Express in Franklin Plaza. Station 20 responded with Engine 20 (3 firefighters), with 4 firefighters (including Chief 20, Assistant Chief 20, and Sergeant 20) going directly to the scene, and 1 firefighter manning the station. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following stations to support Station 20: Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One), and the Murrysville Police. Assistant Chief 20 was first on scene, established command, and found a vehicle on fire in the parking lot in front of the Med Express. Engine 20 arrived and the firefighters extinguished the fire using water and Class A foam. Tanker 78, and Medic 616 arrived to support Engine 20. There were no injuries, and upon extinguishing the fire and completing an investigation, Command 20 turned the scene over to the Murrysville Police. Command 20 released all responding Fire/EMS Units for return to service and station.
