At ~ 12:56 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at a home on Clearfield Lane. Station 20 responded with 5 firefighters (including Assistant Chief 20and Sergeant 20) going to Station 20 to crew Truck 20, and 2 firefighters (including Captain 20) going directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following stations to support Station 20: Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 64 White Valley VFC) and Station 78 (Sardis VFC). Captain 20 was first on scene, established command, and observed no smoke coming from the structure. Upon investigation found that the home's AFA System had been activated by construction within the home. Command 20 returned all responding units, and Truck 20 remained in service and in station.
