At ~8:00 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to conduct Landing Zone Operations for an Aerial Medevac in support of Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One). Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (3 firefighters including Lieutenant 20) and Squad 20 (2 firefighters) setting up the Landing Zone on the Murrysville VFC (Station 20) Fire Grounds for STAT MedEvac. Station 610 transported the patient to the Landing Zone, and all Station 20 units remained on scene until the STAT MedEvac Aerial Ambulance had departed the scene for a local hospital. Upon completion of the operation, all Station 20 Units returned to service and station.
