During the evening of 1 July 2020, the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company (Station 20) conducted Highway Rescue Training at its station for veteran and new firefighters. The training focused on the use of the hydraulic extrication tools carried on Rescue 20 and Engine 20, which are used to gain access to patients who are entrapped during vehicle collisions. Additional highway rescue and firefighting training exercises are planned to further develop the fire/rescue skills of the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company's Firefighters.
