At ~ 6:16 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) along with Station 78 (Sardis VFC) and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One) for a report of a tree falling on a person. Station 20 responded with 4 firefighters going to the station to crew Rescue 20, while Assistant Chief 20 responded directly to the scene. Director 610 held Rescue 20 and Special Operations 78, as Station 610 had sufficient resources at the scene to handle the incident, and the patient was not trapped. Rescue 20 remained in service. The patient was transported to Station 78 and transferred to an awaiting medical helicopter.
