| At ~ 7:00 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of a tree that had fallen on electric lines on School Road North between Hobaugh Avenue and Chalmers Avenue. Station 20 responded with Engine 20 (2 firefighters including Lieutenant 20), with Chief 20 going directly to the scene, and 8 firefighters on standby at the station. Engine 20 and Chief 20 arrived at the scene, Chief 20 established command, and found that a tree had fallen on the non-electric utility lines. Engine 20's crew removed the tree using a chain saw, and Command 20 requested that Westmoreland 911 notify Comcast and Windstream to send out crews to inspect/repair their lines. Command 20 returned Engine 20 to service and station. |
