At ~ 12:19 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of an oven fire at a home on Fawnway Drive. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (4 firefighters including Assistant Chief 20), with 2 additional firefighters on standby at the station. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations to support Station 20: Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One), and the Murrysville Police. Director 610 was first on scene, and ensured that the home's occupants were out of the structure. Engine 78 was the first fire unit on scene, found that the fire had self extinguished, and with the arrival of Truck 20, Assistant Chief 20 established the command, and returned all enroute units to service and station. The firefighters ventilated the structure, and once the structure was clear allowed the home's occupants to reoccupy the home. Command 20 returned all Fire/EMS Units including Tuck 20 to service and station.
