At ~ 8:17 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of a downed utility line in from of a home on Simmons Circle. Station 20 responded with Engine 20 (3 firefighters including Chief 20), with 3 additional firefighters on standby at the station. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One) to support Station 20. Engine 20 arrived on scene, Chief 20 established command, and found that a Windstream Telephone Line had broken free from a utility pole and had fallen into a residential front yard. Command 20 relayed the Windstream Pole number to Westmoreland 911 so a Windstream Repair Crew could be dispatched to the location. Command 20 returned Engine 20 to service and station.
