Residential Automatic Fire Alarm - Orchard Court

At ~ 9:40 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) atr a home on Orchard Court. Station 20 responded with Captain 20 going directly to the scene, while 3 firefighters (including Chief 20) went to the station to crew Truck 20. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations to support Station 20: Station 9 (Level Green VFC), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 64 (White Valley VFC), and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One). Captain 20 was first on scene, established the command, found no smoke or fire coming from the structure, and upon investigation found that the home's AFA System had been activated by a cooking accident. Command 20 returned all responding units to service and station. Truck 20 remained in service and in station.
