Possible Residential Natural Gas Leak - Shirley Lane

At ~4:24 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of a possible natural gas leak within a home on Shirley Lane. Station 20 responded with Engine 20 (5 firefighters including Lieutenant 20), with Assistant Chief 20 going directly to the scene, and 4 additional firefighters on standby at the station. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations: Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 236 (Holiday Park VFC), Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 22 (Export VFC), and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One). Engines 78 and 236 arrived at the scene, with Chief 78 establishing the command. After investigating the interior of the home, Command 78 instructed Westmoreland 911 to dispatch Peoples Natural Gas to the scene, and returned all additional responding units including Engine 20 to service and station.
