At ~ 10:20 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a 2-Vehicle Collison near the intersection of Logan Ferry and Gun Club Road. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (5 firefighters), with Assistant Chief 20 going directly to the scene. Rescue 20 arrived at the scene, finding one of the vehicles wedged between the other vehicle and the road embankment blocking the roadway, with both operators out of the vehicles, and the Murrysville Police in command of the scene. Assistant Chief 20 arrived on scene, and directed Rescue 20's crew to stabilize the wedged vehicle. Once the stabilization was complete, the other vehicle was removed, and upon arrival of Gombach Towing, the stabilized vehicle was removed from the embankment. Rescue 20's crew cleared debris from the roadway, the Murrysville Police reopened Logan Ferry Road, and released Rescue 20 for return to service and station.
