Residential Automatic Fire Alarm - Lyons Run Road

At ~ 10:07 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at a home on Lyons Run Road. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (3 firefighters including Lieutenant 20), with 1 firefighter going directly to the scene, and 7 firefighters including Captain 20) going to the Station 20 to crew Engine 20 and Squad 20. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations to support Station 20: Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 9 (Level Green VFC), Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One). The direct responding Station 20 firefighter was first on scene, established the initial command, and found that a cooking accident had activated the home's AFA System. Command 20 cancelled all responding units, and Truck 20 returned to service and station.
